NASA-A12-PHOTO-1969DECLASSIFIED

Summary
Three Hasselblad frames taken on November 15, 1969 during Apollo 12's translunar coast show point-source luminous objects flanking the spacecraft. The pictures were retained in NASA's photographic archives without public release until PURSUE Release 01. Accompanying technical notes record that crew did not visually observe the objects through the spacecraft windows.
Why it matters
These are the earliest NASA-acknowledged photographic anomalies in PURSUE. Their re-release reignited a 50-year debate over what photographic evidence can and cannot establish.
